Before the cleanout: check your lease and your assets
Many commercial leases require the space to be returned empty and clean, and some require built-in fixtures to be removed. Check your lease or ask your landlord what condition the space has to be in at move-out. If your accountant tracks office assets, record serial numbers and remove asset tags before the clear-out so your records stay accurate.
Is any of it worth selling?
Quality office furniture, such as ergonomic chairs, sit-stand desks, and name-brand cubicle systems, can have resale value. Used office furniture dealers and liquidators sometimes buy complete sets, so it’s worth a quick call before you decide everything is going to disposal. Every office is different, so we quote each cleanout after a walk-through instead of posting a price list. You’ll have a firm number before any work starts.

How much does an office cleanout in Fort Myers cost?
It depends on the size of the office, how much furniture and electronics are being removed, and the building’s access rules. We quote each cleanout after a walk-through, in person or by video, and confirm the price before we start. There’s no hourly billing.
Can you work after hours or weekends?
Yes — most office cleanouts happen Friday evening or Saturday to avoid disrupting your team. After-hours is typically included in the quote at no extra charge.
Can you handle freight elevators and building security?
Yes — Fort Myers office buildings have their own rules (freight elevator reservations, after-hours security check-ins, loading dock access). Give us the building manager’s contact and we coordinate directly.
Do you handle data-sensitive electronics like servers?
We can haul them, but we don’t do certified data destruction ourselves and we never access data on a device. You can wipe the drives before pickup, or we can point you to a local IT specialist for certified drive destruction, and then haul the cleared hardware.
Can you dismantle cubicles?
Yes — cubicle systems (Herman Miller, Steelcase, Haworth) get dismantled panel by panel. Included in the flat project quote.
What about donation for usable furniture?
Where possible, usable office furniture in good condition is routed to charities and nonprofits that accept it. They choose what they take, so mention it in your quote request and we’ll confirm what’s likely to be accepted.
