Brandon and Brittany started Pure Disposal LLC in 2015, and interior demolition — the light residential kind — has been one of our fastest-growing services every year since. Not the full-teardown demolition companies advertise. We’re the crew you call when you’re gutting a kitchen, ripping out a bath, pulling up tile in the Florida room, or clearing every fixture out of a Cape Coral condo before the remodel starts.
Here’s what makes us different from the demolition contractors you’ll find in Fort Myers: they leave you with a debris pile. They swing hammers, load a dumpster, and drive off. Then you’re stuck with the dumpster rental, the debris pickup, and the yard damage. We do the tear-out AND the haul-away in one trip. No dumpster on your driveway for a week. No separate junk-removal call. Cabinets out, hauled off, and the kitchen is broom-clean before we leave.
Interior demolition covers the inside of your home: kitchens, baths, flooring, drywall, cabinets, and built-ins, taken apart carefully and hauled away in the same trip. We also take down decks, hot tubs, mobile homes, and barns (see below). For whole-house teardowns, pool demolition, or heavy concrete cutting, you’d need a full demolition contractor, and we’ll tell you if your job falls into that group.
If it’s attached to your walls or floors, we can take it apart. Each item below comes out carefully and goes straight onto our trailer.
Upper and lower cabinets and islands, custom or stock, come out in sections so the walls and floors you're keeping stay intact. Tell us if the plumbing needs to be capped first and we'll plan around it.
Granite, quartz, tile, and laminate are cut into pieces we can carry safely. Stone is heavy and awkward, so we handle the lifting, and we disconnect the sink drain and water lines first.
Full vanities with tops, wall-mounted cabinets, medicine cabinets, and mirrors. We shut off the water, disconnect the drain, and leave the wall ready for your remodeler.
Ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone are pulled up, with the thin-set scraped or ground. Floor protection goes down along our path out, and all the broken tile leaves with us.
Planks are pulled up and the underlayment is stripped. Your installer gets a bare subfloor instead of a pile of old boards.
Full walls, partial sections, water-damaged areas, and popcorn ceilings. If you suspect mold behind a wall, tell us when you request your quote so we can plan the job properly.
Cast iron, acrylic, and fiberglass tubs and shower units. When a tub won't fit through the bathroom door, we cut it in place and carry it out in pieces.
Entertainment centers, closet organizers, wet bars, and built-in shelving. We unbolt them cleanly and leave the wall ready for repair or paint.

We shut off water valves and disconnect drain lines for vanities and sinks. For hardwired appliances or panel connections, we recommend having your electrician cap the connection first (or we can refer one in Fort Myers). Everything downstream of the disconnect is our job.
Yes — post-Ian rebuild work is one of our largest interior demolition service categories on the islands. Causeway-planned scheduling, small-street truck sizing, and coordination with your rebuild GC.
Junk removal takes stuff that’s already loose or broken. Interior demolition takes apart what’s still attached — cabinets bolted to the wall, tile mortared to the floor, vanities plumbed to the drain. We do both, together, in one trip.
For single-room demos (bath, single-cabinet-run kitchen), usually yes. For whole-kitchen or whole-house tear-outs, we recommend being off-site for the demo day — mostly for dust and noise. We’ll tell you honestly based on your scope.
