Fort Myers BBQ grill disposal: old grill out, patio clear
Brandon and Brittany started Pure Disposal LLC in 2015, and BBQ grill disposal in Fort Myers is a regular call — especially after storm season, snowbird turnovers, and outdoor kitchen remodels. Old grills get heavy fast (the cast iron, the burners, the grease trap), and dragging one across the lanai and out to the curb isn’t fun. We come and haul.
When is a grill past saving?
Florida’s humidity and salt air are hard on outdoor metal. A grill is probably done when the firebox or lid has rusted through, the burners are crumbling, the frame wobbles, or the ignition won’t light no matter what you replace. If you smell gas around the grill, shut the tank valve and don’t use it. Replacing burners and grates can bring some grills back, but when repairs cost close to a new grill, it’s usually time to let it go.
Getting your grill ready for pickup
Let the grill cool completely, and make sure any charcoal ash is fully cold. Empty the ash catcher and grease tray if you can. Clear a path from the patio or lanai to the driveway, and tell us about gates, steps, or tight turns when you send your photo. If a propane tank is attached, leave it for us to talk through with you first.

How much does BBQ grill disposal in Fort Myers cost?
A standard gas or charcoal grill is $125. Beyond that we price by trailer load: $280 for a ¼ load (such as a large gas grill, a kamado grill, a built-in grill uninstall, or two to four grills), $450 for a ½ load, $635 for a ¾ load, and $750 for a full trailer. We confirm the price before we load.
Can you take my propane tank too?
Full propane tanks are a safety issue, so we don’t haul them. You can return a tank to a propane exchange or refill location, or ask your county’s household hazardous waste program about damaged tanks. If the tank is empty and has been depressurized by a propane company, we can haul the shell. Mention the tank in your quote request and we’ll sort out the details before pickup.
Do you take Big Green Eggs and kamado grills?
Yes. Kamado-style ceramic grills like Big Green Egg, Kamado Joe, and Primo are among the heaviest we haul, so we plan the carry with the right equipment. They’re priced at the ¼ trailer load, $280.
Can you remove a built-in grill from my outdoor kitchen?
Yes. We can uninstall a bolted or mortared built-in grill and haul the unit, leaving the outdoor kitchen structure in place. It’s priced at the ¼ trailer load, $280.
What happens to the grill after you take it?
Where possible, the steel body, cast iron grates, aluminum, and stainless parts go to metal recycling. Non-metal parts, such as plastic knobs and wooden handles, are disposed of separately.
Can you take a rusted or storm-damaged grill?
Yes. Rusted, blown-over, and water-damaged grills are common after hurricane season. The standard $125 price applies.
