Fort Myers electronics disposal: every device, picked up and recycled
Brandon and Brittany started Pure Disposal LLC in 2015, and electronics disposal in Fort Myers is a regular part of our work. Old TVs pile up after an upgrade, home offices fill with dead computers and printers, and offices refresh their equipment on a schedule. We pick up the electronics from your home or office and take them for recycling, so they don’t sit in the garage or end up at the curb.
Most Fort Myers junk removal competitors take your TV and don’t tell you where it goes. We tell you.
Why old electronics need special handling
Old electronics contain materials that don’t belong in the regular trash. Older TVs and monitors with cathode ray tubes contain a significant amount of lead, and circuit boards and batteries contain other heavy metals. Many of these materials can also be recovered and reused, which is why recycling is better than a landfill.
Before you recycle: back up and sign out
Back up anything you want to keep, sign out of accounts such as email, cloud storage, and app stores, and remove SIM cards and memory cards. For phones and tablets, use the factory reset. For computers, use the built-in reset or secure erase option. If a device holds sensitive business or medical data, see the FAQ on data-sensitive electronics below.
Common e-waste pickup situations
- Home office upgrade (old computer out)
- Business tech refresh (old workstations)
- TV upgrade (old TV replacement)
- Rental property electronics leftover
- Storm-damaged electronics
- Estate downsize (accumulated electronics)

We reached out to Brandon to clear out our garage and storage room. He responded very fast, gave us a quote, and set a date. Pick up was very professional and fast. They didn’t leave a single piece of trash behind even brought their own dust pans and brooms to sweep up. Saved his number and will definitely reach out for future needs.

I just had an incredible experience this evening with Brandon and his disposal company. I needed an emergency recliner removal from one of my senior client’s apartments. He not only took care of it with very little notice at a very fair price, he was incredibly kind and respectful throughout the process and made her feel comfortable. I will use his services again in a heartbeat!

Good to know
Electronics disposal questions, answered
Quick answers about where electronics go, data, and pricing. If yours isn’t here, call or text us.
How much does electronics disposal in Fort Myers cost?
A single electronic item, including a large TV or CRT tube TV, is $125. Beyond that we price by trailer load: $280 for a ¼ load (such as a home office refresh), $450 for a ½ load, $635 for a ¾ load, and $750 for a full trailer. We confirm the price before we load.
Where do the electronics go after you take them?
We take them to an electronics recycler, where devices are taken apart and materials such as metals and plastics are recovered. If you need details for a business, ask us when you request your quote.
Do you handle data-sensitive electronics like servers or business computers?
We can haul them, but we don’t do certified data destruction ourselves and we never access data on a device. You can wipe the drives before pickup, or we can point you to a local IT specialist for certified drive destruction, and then haul the cleared hardware.
Do you take old CRT tube TVs?
Yes. CRT TVs need special handling because the glass contains lead, and they’re priced as a single item at $125.
Can you take office electronics in bulk from a business?
Yes. Business tech refreshes are a common commercial service for us. We price them by trailer load, from $450 for a ½ load up to $750 for a full trailer, and we confirm the price before we load.
What about batteries, like laptop and phone batteries?
Batteries that are inside a device leave with it. For loose batteries or large battery packs, ask us in your quote request and we’ll confirm what we can take.
Where can I recycle old electronics near me?
Drop-off options vary, and not every location takes every device. We pick up from your home or office and take care of the recycling. We’re based in Fort Myers and serve Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Estero, Naples, Bonita Springs, Marco Island, Punta Gorda, North Port, and the islands.
