Brandon and Brittany started Pure Disposal LLC in 2015, and hot tub removal has been one of our steadiest services every year since. In Southwest Florida — especially Cape Coral canal lots, Fort Myers waterfront homes, and Bonita 55+ communities — half the tubs we pull haven’t been used in years. The pump broke, the neighbor complained about the noise, or the family that used it has moved on. The tub sits on the lanai reminding you it needs to go.
Most hot tub removal in Fort Myers isn’t hard because of the tub itself — it’s hard because of the access. Ours are pool-cage extractions on canal lots, second-story lanai carries, and side-gates barely 36 inches wide. Yes — pool-cage hot tub removal is one of the most common jobs we handle, especially in Cape Coral, Naples, and Bonita. We dismantle in sections in place, carry the pieces through the standard 36-inch pool-cage door, and don’t damage your screen or frame. Photo us the tub with the pool cage in frame.
No — draining is included in the service. We bring a submersible pump and drain to a landscaped area, storm drain, or wherever local code allows. If you’d rather pre-drain, mention it in your quote request and we discount accordingly.
Yes. Second-story hot tub removal is more work — usually a partial dismantle in place, then a stair carry with ratchet straps — but it’s a routine part of our SWFL work. Send a photo of the tub and the stair or elevator access.
The shell goes to a proper Lee County disposal facility. Metal components (motor, jets, plumbing) are separated for scrap recycling. We don’t dump — every tub has a documented endpoint.
We shut off breakers and disconnect at the GFCI subpanel or plug — safely, but we don’t rewire. If your tub is hardwired directly into the panel, we recommend having an electrician cap the connection first (or we can refer one in Fort Myers). Everything downstream of the disconnect is our job.
