Brandon and Brittany started Pure Disposal LLC in 2015, and retail cleanouts in Fort Myers are a regular part of our commercial work. Retail spaces change hands often in Southwest Florida: seasonal shops close when the winter season ends, tenants remodel between leases, and downtown stores close, relocate, or move online. We handle the physical work of clearing shelving, fixtures, equipment, and back-stock, coordinated with your property manager and your closing timeline.
Selling down stock and fixtures first
Before the clear-out, decide what can still be sold. A closing sale can move remaining inventory, and good fixtures, such as shelving, display cases, and mannequins, can sometimes be sold to other retailers or used-fixture dealers. Whatever isn’t sold or donated is what we clear, which keeps the cleanout smaller.
Documenting the space for your landlord’s walk-through
Ask your landlord or property manager for a written list of what condition the space has to be in at lease end. Once the space is cleared, take dated photos of each area. They help if there’s any question about the condition of the space or your deposit.

Every store is different, so we quote each cleanout after a walk-through instead of posting a price list. You’ll have a firm number before any work starts.

How much does a retail cleanout in Fort Myers cost?
It depends on the size of the space, the amount of shelving, fixtures, and back-stock, and the building’s access rules. We quote each cleanout after a walk-through, in person or by video, and confirm the price before we start. There’s no hourly billing.
Can you work around business hours?
Yes — most retail cleanouts happen after hours (evenings) or on off-days so adjacent stores aren’t disrupted. Especially important in shopping centers and mall properties.
Can you coordinate with our property manager or landlord?
Yes. Shopping centers and managed properties often have vendor rules for loading dock hours, freight elevators, and security check-ins. Give us the property manager’s contact and we’ll coordinate with them directly.
Do you handle POS equipment and data-sensitive tech?
We can haul POS terminals, computers, and payment equipment, but we don’t do certified data destruction ourselves and we never access data on a device. Wipe the devices before pickup, or we can point you to a local IT specialist for certified drive destruction, and then haul the cleared hardware.
Can you dismantle gondola shelving and display fixtures?
Yes — retail shelving systems, display cases, and fixture racks all get dismantled on-site and hauled. Included in the flat project quote.
What about donation for usable retail fixtures?
Where possible, usable fixtures such as shelving, mannequins, and display cases can go to used-fixture buyers or charities that accept them. They choose what they take, so mention it in your quote request and we’ll confirm what’s likely to be accepted.
Do you do storage unit cleanouts in Fort Myers?
Yes. We empty storage units of furniture, boxes, and back-stock and haul everything away, so you can close out the rental. Send us a photo of the unit and the facility’s address, and we’ll confirm.
