Brandon and Brittany started Pure Disposal LLC in 2015, and appliance removal in Fort Myers is one of our most-called single-item services. The refrigerator finally died. The washer leaked once too many times. The new dishwasher is being installed Tuesday and the old one has to be out first. We handle every appliance, including the disconnect — water valves, drain lines, plug outs, and 220V unplugs.
A single appliance is $125 flat. That covers disconnecting it, carrying it out from wherever it sits, including upstairs laundry rooms and garage fridges, and hauling it to disposal. You send a photo and we confirm the price before we load.
Why appliances shouldn't go to the curb
Refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners contain refrigerant, which has to be handled properly and shouldn’t be released into the air. Appliances are also heavy and awkward, with sharp edges and sometimes leftover water or oil inside. Moving a fridge or washer on your own is a common cause of back injuries and scratched floors, so it’s worth leaving to a crew with the right equipment.
Getting a refrigerator or washer ready
If you’re replacing a fridge or freezer, unplug it a day before pickup so it can defrost, and put towels down for meltwater. A chest freezer takes longer to thaw. For a washer or dryer, remove detergent, lint, and any loose items from the drum, and leave a clear path to the door.

How much does appliance removal in Fort Myers cost?
A single appliance is $125 flat, with the disconnect included. A washer and dryer set is $180. For larger jobs, we price by trailer load: $280 for a ¼ load, $450 for a ½ load, $635 for a ¾ load, and $750 for a full trailer. We confirm the price before we load.
Do you disconnect the appliances or do I need to?
We disconnect. Water valves off, drain lines uncoupled, plugs pulled. For gas appliances (gas dryers, gas stoves), we recommend having your gas provider or a plumber cap the gas line first, then we handle everything downstream.
Can you take my refrigerator with food still in it?
Please empty the fridge first. If there’s residual food/liquid, we can handle small amounts, but a fully-stocked fridge slows the pickup and can leak in transit. Just clear it out beforehand.
Do you haul working appliances that just aren't wanted anymore?
Yes. If an appliance is in good condition, we’ll try to route it to a local charity that accepts it. Charities choose what they take, so mention it in your quote request and we’ll confirm what’s likely to be accepted.

Yes — garage fridges and freezers are one of our most common calls. Standard $125 flat price applies.
