The Differentiator
Fort Myers hot tub removal — even the ones behind the pool cage
Brandon and Brittany started Pure Disposal LLC in 2015, and hot tub removal has been one of our steadiest services every year since. In Southwest Florida — especially Cape Coral canal lots, Fort Myers waterfront homes, and Bonita 55+ communities — half the tubs we pull haven’t been used in years. The pump broke, the neighbor complained about the noise, or the family that used it has moved on. The tub sits on the lanai reminding you it needs to go.
Most hot tub removal in Fort Myers isn’t hard because of the tub itself — it’s hard because of the access. Ours are pool-cage extractions on canal lots, second-story lanai carries, and side-gates barely 36 inches wide. We dismantle in place when we have to, use ratchet straps for stair carries, and keep your screen enclosure intact on the way out. Photo us the tub and the exit path for a flat quote before we roll.
What "hot tub removal" actually means when we quote it
- Drain: We drain the tub on-site — no water in your yard, no leftover algae in the shell.
- Disconnect: We disconnect the tub from GFCI power (safely — we don’t touch live circuits, but we shut things down properly).
- Dismantle: If it can’t come out whole, we cut or unbolt in place. Fiberglass shells come apart in sections; wood-skirted tubs strip down.
- Haul: Two-person crew, loaded on our trailer, gone.
- Sweep: Broom-clean the deck or lanai before we leave.
Where competitors fall short (and we don't)
Most Fort Myers hot tub removal companies quote a flat rate over the phone and then hit you with add-ons when the crew shows up — “second-story,” “cage removal,” “no dolly access.” Our flat quote is based on what your photo shows. If your photo is honest, the invoice matches the quote.

Brandon and his team are personable and kept in contact with me throughout the day. We lost the first floor of our house from Hurricane Ian and our friends and family helped us tear out everything after the storm, including some family photos we wanted to salvage. I asked them to keep an eye out and they did everything they could to find some of our photos to keep. Thank you guys!

We reached out to Brandon to clear out our garage and storage room. He responded very fast, gave us a quote, and set a date. Pick up was very professional and fast. They didn’t leave a single piece of trash behind even brought their own dust pans and brooms to sweep up. Saved his number and will definitely reach out for future needs.

I just had an incredible experience this evening with Brandon and his disposal company. I needed an emergency recliner removal from one of my senior client’s apartments. He not only took care of it with very little notice at a very fair price, he was incredibly kind and respectful throughout the process and made her feel comfortable. I will use his services again in a heartbeat!

Hot Tub Removal FAQs
How much does hot tub removal in Fort Myers cost?
Hot tub removal starts around $280 for a standard deck tub with easy access, scaling to $635–$750 for pool-cage extractions, second-story lanai carries, and swim spas. Send a photo of the tub and the exit path for the exact flat number before we arrive.
Can you remove a hot tub from behind my pool cage?
Yes — pool-cage hot tub removal is one of the most common jobs we handle, especially in Cape Coral, Naples, and Bonita. We dismantle in sections in place, carry the pieces through the standard 36-inch pool-cage door, and don’t damage your screen or frame. Photo us the tub with the pool cage in frame.
Do I need to drain the hot tub before you arrive?
No — draining is included in the service. We bring a submersible pump and drain to a landscaped area, storm drain, or wherever local code allows. If you’d rather pre-drain, mention it in your quote request and we discount accordingly.
Can you take my hot tub if it's on a second-story lanai?
Yes. Second-story hot tub removal is more work — usually a partial dismantle in place, then a stair carry with ratchet straps — but it’s a routine part of our SWFL work. Send a photo of the tub and the stair or elevator access.
What happens to the hot tub after you take it?
The shell goes to a proper Lee County disposal facility. Metal components (motor, jets, plumbing) are separated for scrap recycling. We don’t dump — every tub has a documented endpoint.
Can you disconnect the electrical too?
We shut off breakers and disconnect at the GFCI subpanel or plug — safely, but we don’t rewire. If your tub is hardwired directly into the panel, we recommend having an electrician cap the connection first (or we can refer one in Fort Myers). Everything downstream of the disconnect is our job.
